An independent filmmaking collective making stories by and about women.

What is Lilith Noire Pictures?
Lilith isn’t a person. Lilith is a shared creative identity, an independent collective of filmmakers, writers, performers, producers, artists, and storytellers who come together to create films by and about women. Our films don’t belong to a single genre; they can be frightening, funny, romantic, intimate, violent, strange, or completely unexpected. What connects the work is perspective. We believe women deserve to exist in stories as complete human beings, without being reduced to archetypes or cleaned up for the comfort of the audience. Different voices. Different stories. One collective.
Our Three Principles
We believe female characters don’t have to be likable, heroic, virtuous, or easily understood. They can be complicated, selfish, ambitious, sexual, funny, dangerous, vulnerable, contradictory, or all of those things at once. We believe sexuality is part of the human experience and can be intimate, funny, uncomfortable, complicated, powerful, messy, or joyful without reducing performers to objects. And we believe independent filmmaking doesn’t have to mean thinking small. Limited resources can coexist with ambitious stories, strong performances, and intentional filmmaking. Women without sanitization. Sexuality without exploitation. Ambition without a massive budget.
